A receiver for a simulated remote controlled improvised explosive device is attahced to a telephone pole showing Marines and sailors in the Predeployment Training Program that IEDs are not just on the ground. Counter IED instructors taught inside the classroom for a portion of their class and then took the Marines and sailors outside to show them an overview of different types of IEDs and their indicators.
