Marines with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 112, known as the “Cowboys,” preform maintenance checks on F/A-18 Hornets aboard Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, Jan. 8, 2014, to ensure their aircraft meet requirements before they return to Naval Air Station, Joint Reserve Base, Fort Worth, Texas. The squadron has been activated for nine months on a Unit Deployment Program instead of the usual six. They spent three months in Hawaii to receive pre-deployment training prior to being station at MCAS Iwakuni.
