Cpl. Kyle D. Malone packs and prepares his double-bag static line parachute Jan. 23 at Marine Corps Base Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. U.S. Marines and New Zealand service members began a high-altitude, high-opening DBSL parachute training course to become certified in DBSL parachute operations. The course was a part of Exercise Sandfisher 2014. Malone is a reconnaissance man with Co. B, 3rd Recon Bn., 3rd Marine Division, III MEF.
