Camp Pendleton's Public Works department took a tour of the base as a part of their fieldtrip to congratulate their teams a job well done Feb. 27. During the tour the group visited the Infantry Immersion Trainer where they saw the most up to date technology combined with a "mock Afghanistan village," and the Combat Convoy Simulator where they had a chance to operate simulator vehicles and weapons. The tour concluded with lunch at the 24-Area Mess Hall where they enjoyed a meal in the presence of some of Camp Pendleton's Marines.
