Cpl. Khari D. Marshall, a Reading, Pa., native and chief cook with Food Service Company, Combat Logistics Regiment 27, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, takes potatoes out of an Enhanced Tray Ration Heating System at a field mess site during the W.P.T. Hill Award competition aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., March 10, 2014. The W.P.T. Hill Award was established in 1985 to improve food service operations and recognize the best field and garrison messes in the Marine Corps. Competitors are judged on areas such as operations, sanitation, taste and quality of food.
