Lance Cpl. Ashley S. Hutchins gives an order to Spaiky at the parade deck on Camp Foster as part of a military working dog capabilities demonstration April 4 during a Junior Warrior Day hosted by Combat Logistics Battalion 4. Military working dogs are obedient to their handlers and capable of assisting in the apprehension of a suspect, according to Hutchins. Hutchins is a working dog handler and Spaiky is a military working dog with the Provost Marshal’s Office, Headquarters and Service Battalion, Marine Corps Base Camp Smedley D. Butler, Marine Corps Installations Pacific. The Marines with CLB-4 are assigned to Combat Logistics Regiment 3, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
