The goal of the Earth Day events was to educate volunteers on environmental awareness to help keep the planet healthy. Sokolowski is a Clearwater, Fla., native and technical controller Marine with 7th Communications Battalion, III Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, III MEF.
