A Republic of Korea Marine, left, is instructed by Lance Cpl. Axel E. Hogberg June 7, 2014 at the 1st Republic of Korea Marine Division base in Pohang, South Korea. The Marines executed weapons familiarization training in preparation for Korean Marine Exchange Program 14-8, which is slated to take place June 9-21. KMEP is a regularly-scheduled, combined, small-unit training exercise, which enhances the combat readiness and interoperability of ROK-U.S. Marine Corps forces. Hogberg is a military policeman with Company A, 3rd Law Enforcement Battalion, III Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, III MEF.
