Lance Cpl. Cody B. Starks, bottom left, fires an M203 40 mm grenade launcher as Lance Cpl. Anthony J. Pellegrini, standing left, looks on June 19 during integrated live-fire training as part of Korean Marine Exchange Program 14-8 at the Susungri range in Pohang. ROK and U.S. Marines used various weapons systems as part of an integrated live-fire range to enhance their combined combat proficiency. KMEP 14-8 is a combined, small-unit training exercise, which enhances the combat readiness and interoperability of ROK and U.S. Marine Corps forces. The exercise also highlights the two countries’ combined commitment to the defense of South Korea and peace and security in the region. Starks is a Benton, Kentucky native, and Pellegrini is a Pompton Lakes, New Jersey native. Both are military policemen with Company C, 3rd Law Enforcement Battalion, III Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, III MEF. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Drew Tech/Released)
