From left to right, Masayo Oshiro, Kanami Oshiro, 1st Sgt. Andre S. Guay and Col. Edmund J. Bowen pose for a photograph after exchanging gifts July 10 at Camp Kinser. Kanami and her mother thanked Guay for saving her life after she was struck by a car June 16. Bowen is the commanding officer of Combat Logisitcs Regiment 37, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force. Guay is the company first sergeant of Food Service Company, CLR-37, 3rd MLG, III MEF. Masayo Oshiro is an agricultural agency worker, and Kanami Oshiro is a student at Ginowan High School.
