A decontamination team helps Marines remove their mission-oriented protective posture equipment safely July 18 during a practical application evaluation as part of a weeklong Reconnaissance Survey Detection Decontamination training at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma. For every unit assigned to III Marine Expeditionary Force, 25 percent of their on-hand sergeants and below are required to complete the training, according to Sgt. Tristan Medina, an instructor and chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear defense specialist with Personnel Support Detachment 18, Marine Air Control Group 18, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III MEF.
