A Marine opens an M256 chemical detection kit during a practical application evaluation as part of Reconnaissance Survey Detection Decontamination training July 18 at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma. For the evaluation, Marines donned mission-oriented protective posture equipment and surveyed an area as an instructor asked attendees questions about the process. RSDD training instructs Marines on how to assess and deal with possible chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear contamination.
