Marines with 9th Communication Battalion, I Marine Expeditionary Force, make their way to the pits to throw grenades aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Aug. 14, 2014. The Marines were trained by 1st Marine Division Schools as part of an annual training event preparing them for whatever the future brings.
