Staff Sgt. Maurice Mincey, a motor transport operations chief with Combat Logistics Battalion 2, Combat Logistics Regiment 2, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, II Marine Expeditionary Force, operates a remote control system during the Autonomous Mobility Applique System Joint Capability Technology Demonstration Aug. 20, 2014, at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, South Carolina. The remote control is designed to operate tactical vehicles with the assistance of the AMAS without being in a convoy, leaving the personnel in the convoy to supervise the system’s actions.
