A Marine wearing Rugged All Terrain boots disembarks from a helicopter in Afghanistan. Two pairs of RAT boots, a temperate variant and hot variant, like the ones pictured above, will be issued to Marine Corps recruits and officer candidates in their sea bags starting Dec. 1, 2014.
