An M88A2 Hercules Recovery Vehicle from 2nd Maintenance Battalion, 2nd Marines Logistics Group, splashes into a pool of mud in an attempt to get stuck for recovery training aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Sept. 29, 2014. Marines recovered a Hercules from an 8-foot deep mud pool using a winch and pulley system. Marines and sailors the battalion conducted a field exercise Sept. 18-Oct. 1, 2014, to reinforce their ability to accomplish battalion-level, mission essential tasks.
