Michael Wardian, age 40 and a native of Arlington, Virginia, runs past the U.S. Capitol during the 2014 Marine Corps Marathon Oct. 26 in Washington, D.C. This was Wardian’s sixth time running the Marine Corps Marathon. This is the Marine Corps Marathon’s 39th running year.
