Japan Ground Self-Defense Force members with the Special Weapons Protection Unit unload a casualty during a response exercise Dec. 1 at Camp Naha, Okinawa. The training increased ties between the JGSDF and participating U.S. Marines by building trust and confidence between the two nations. The JGSDF members are with the Nuclear Biological Chemical Unit, 15th Brigade.
