Recruits of Bravo Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, make their way across the pool during the a 25-meter swim portion of the Water Survival Basic Qualification at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Dec. 15. Recruits were instructed to not touch the bottom of the pool at any time during the swim or they would instantly fail and have to return for remedial training to try again.
