A AV-8B Harrier with 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing flys over the runway toward the setting sun at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., Feb. 3, 2015. Cherry Point is home to 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing and several of its squadrons. Its runways operate 24/7, 365 days each year, and the air station hosts squadrons that specialize in air-to-ground attack support; heavy helicopter lift and transport; electronic warfare; aerial transport and refueling; and sea and land search and rescue.
