A Marine with 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, parachutes toward the ground during a parachute training exercise at Training Landing Zone Pheasant aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Jan. 28. The battalion conducted a three-day training exercise to refresh their parachuting skills and to get their new Marines accustomed to the low-level static line parachute used by the Marine Corps. Marines performed two different types of jumps; low-level static line, with and without equipment, and High Altitude Low Opening free-fall jumps.
