Marines with 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion load the M2 .50- caliber heavy machine gun during a range shoot at SR-7 aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., April 6, 2015. Approximately 30 Marines from the battalion conducted a two-day, machine-gun range in which they shot the M249 Squad Automatic Weapon, the M240 Bravo medium machine gun, and the .50-caliber heavy machine gun from both the mounted and un-mounted positions at targets placed at unknown distances.
