A U.S. Marines Corps CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 463, Marine Rotational Force – Darwin, flies over Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia, during a June 10 familiarization flight. The familiarization flight took off from RAAF Darwin, flew over the Port of Darwin and landed back at RAAF Darwin. MRF-D is an excellent opportunity to improve our knowledge of one another’s customs and traditions which ultimately strengthens U.S.-Australian military interoperability.
