Marines with Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany’s Military Funeral Honors Detail render a salute to a fallen service member during a funeral service at Andersonville National Cemetery, Andersonville, Ga., June 10. The detail consisted of an eight-man team conducting the 21-gun salute, a bugler and a two-man flag team. A Marine from the two-man flag team presented the family with the folded national ensign upon completion of the ceremony. Marines attached to MCLB Albany conduct about 75 military funerals honors each year throughout the Southeast region.
