U.S. Marine Cpl. Justin R. Seddon, a meteorology/oceanography specialist with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, uses a Kestrel portable weather device to collect weather data during a Composite Training Unit Exercise aboard the USS Kearsarge July 27, 2015. The Kestrel has built in measurement devices that determine wind speed, air pressure and temperature. The 26th MEU and Amphibious Squadron 4 are conducting a COMPTUEX to earn certification for their deployment to the 5th and 6th Fleet areas of responsibility later this year.
