Lt. Gen. Jon Davis pays respect to the Marines who flew the CH-46 over the past 5 decades during the CH-46 Retirement Ceremony at the Smithsonian Institution National Air and Space Museum in Chantilly, Virginia Aug. 1, 2015. The CH-46 began its service in the Marine Corps during 1964 and by 1968 it had flown roughly 180,000 missions.
