Army Staff Sgt. Nho T. Nguyen gets sprayed with OC during the OC Spray Performance Evaluation Course on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Aug. 27, 2015. The OC Course is part of the Non-Lethal Weapons Instructor Course. Before the students earn instructor certification, they must familiarize themselves with OC spray by experiencing its effects firsthand. Nguyen, from Huntington Beach, California, is a military policeman with the 247th Military Police Detachment, and will have the collateral duty of non-lethal weapons instructor upon completion of the course.
