Marines with 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment conduct a movement to contact drill to eliminate a simulated enemy during Exercise Dawn Blitz at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Sept. 8, 2015. Dawn Blitz is a multinational training exercise being conducted by Expeditionary Strike Group Three and 1st Marine Expeditionary Brigade to build U.S., Japan, Mexico and New Zealand’s amphibious operations and command and control capabilities through live, simulated and constructive military training activities.
