Cpl. Jacob Gomez, a rifleman with Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment and a Lubbock, Texas native, walks across a log while running through the obstacle course at Boondocker Training Area aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Sept. 15, 2015. Marines from Bravo Co. 1st Bn., 3rd Marines conducted sustainment training to ensure they keep their combat mindset sharp and intact before embarking on their upcoming Unit Deployment Program. Training like this supports the mission of Marine Corps Base Hawaii by enhancing and sustaining combat readiness.
