U.S. Marines with Lima Company, Battalion Landing Team 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, run with water jugs during a deck shoot aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2). The Marines grappled and ran between courses of fire to practice shooting with an increased heart rate. The 15th MEU, embarked aboard the ships of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group, is deployed to maintain regional security in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
