U.S. Navy corpsmen with Company B, 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force – Crisis Response – Central Command, treat an Iraqi soldier for combat-related injuries at Al Taqaddum, Iraq, Nov. 28, 2015. Wounded Iraqi soldiers are occasionally transported from battlefields in Ramadi, Iraq, to Al Taqaddum to receive medical treatment from U.S. personnel. U.S. Marines and sailors with SPMAGTF-CR-CC are currently deployed in support of Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve, which focuses on defeating the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility.
