A U.S. Marine Corps MV-22 Osprey with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 268, Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Central Command, lifts off from the USS Kearsarge during carrier qualification training in the Arabian Gulf, Dec. 11, 2015. VMM-268 conducted the training with VMM-162, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, to certify 10 pilots and 11 crew chiefs to conduct aviation operations from sea-based sites. SPMAGTF-CR-CC is currently deployed in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility with a crisis response mission spanning 20 nations.
