Marines attending the Basic Water Support Technician course 2-16 (BWST 2-16) at Marine Corps Engineer School, Camp Lejeune, N.C., conduct Tactical Water Purification System (TWPS) operations. The students' familiarization with the equipment, its capabilities and limitations; and knowledge of how to purify untreated/non-potable water sources into potable water are key facets of being a water support technician Marine.
