Marines and sailors with the 31st MEU flew from the USS Bonhomme Richard to Ie Shima for a vertical assault as part of amphibious integration training with the Navy ships of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group. The 31st MEU is currently deployed to the Asia-Pacific region. Nugent is a Cleveland native.
