Cpl. Ross McClanahan signals to a Marine operating an A/S 32K-1A/1B/1C SATS Weapon Loader to load BDU-45 practice bombs onto an F/A-18 Hornet during Exercise Coastal Predator at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., Feb. 16, 2016. The practice bombs are unguided ordnance that fall according to the trajectory of the aircraft while in flight and are used for training purposes. Coastal Predator is an exercise that included Marine Corps and Army aviation assets along with Air Force personnel and civilian contractors to conduct Forward Air Controller Airborne training in accordance with the pre-deployment training program.
