U.S. Navy sailor Gunners Mate 3rd Class Frank Rivas watches as the USS Ashland departs from the Port of Sattahip, Thailand, Feb. 21, 2016. Leaving port ended the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit's stay for Cobra Gold 16, an annual exercise that increases cooperation, interoperability and collaboration among partner nations in order to achieve effective solutions to common challenges.
