A CH-53E Super Stallion lifts cargo during a helicopter support training exercise, aided by Marines with Landing Support Platoon, Combat Logistics Battalion 2 at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., March 2, 2016. Helicopter support team missions are critical to mission accomplishment because they provide the ability to quickly and efficiently provide support to other Marines on the ground, and they assist with the loading and unloading of important equipment such as small vehicles, supplies, and food rations in a moment’s notice.
