Marines of Hotel Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, begin their motivation run at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, April 7. The three-mile run is conducted the day before graduation and passes by all major training areas on the depot. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Hotel Company is scheduled to graduate April 8.
