Sgt. Chris Piette helps construct a bridge at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, April 13, 2016. Piette is a combat engineer with 7th Engineer Support Battalion, I Marine Logistics Group, and is a De Pere, Wisconsin native. Bailey bridge was originally designed during World War II and was one of the most critical engineering components of that time.
