An F-35B Lightning II executes a vertical landing on the flight line aboard Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort April 25. The F-35B is the short take-off/ vertical landing variant of the aircraft allowing it to be more maneuverable in smaller areas. The aircraft is with Marine Fighter Attack Training Squadron 501.
