U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. John Mara, a squad leader with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Africa, verifies the identities of two simulated refugees during Exercise Orion 16 in Santa Margarida, Portugal, June 23, 2016. This training gave the Marines an opportunity to work side by side the Portuguese military, providing invaluable experience for future joint operations.
