Lance Cpl. Duston Haggard helps an Okinawa elementary school student operate a hand line, also known as a fire hose, July 18 during a tour of Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, Okinawa, Japan. The tour strengthened the bilateral relationship between Marines and Okinawa residents by allowing them to see what Marines do on a daily basis and their day-to-day responsibilities in the workplace. During the visit, guests enjoyed a meal at the Habu Pit, toured the mess hall and explored various static displays on the flight line. Haggard is an aircraft rescue and fire fighting specialist with Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron, Marine Corps Air Station Futenma.
