These Marines are participating in Rim of the Pacific 2016, a multinational military exercise, from June 29 to Aug. 8 in and around the Hawaiian Islands. RIMPAC helps integrate joint and combined capabilities to conduct amphibious, offensive, defensive, and stability operations. Sherack, a native of Medford, New York, and Campos, a native of Houston, are both machine gunners with Golf Company, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, which supports III MEF Expeditionary Force.
