Cpl. Dunbar Linell, a crew chief with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 461, observes his surroundings for an acceptable landing zone at Marine Corps Air Station New River, N.C., July 28, 2016. The CH-53E Super Stallion is the largest helicopter in the United States military, and able to carry a 26,000-pound Light Armored Vehicle, 16 tons of cargo, or enough combat-loaded Marines to lead an assault or humanitarian operation. The capabilities provided by the CH-53E strengthen the expeditionary capabilities of Marines Corps units and make this aircraft one of the most useful in the Marine Corps. HMH-461 is part of Marine Aircraft Group 29, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing.
