Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center at Twentynine Palms, California – Marines with Kilo Company, 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment run through a scenario during the Marine Air Ground Task Force Integrated Experiment (MIX-16) August 5, 2016 at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center at Twentynine Palms, California. MIX-16 is being used to test new equipment and concepts to help the Marine Corps meet the challenges of the future operating environment. MIX-16 is the first event in the Sea Dragon 2025 initiative, which is the Marine Corps’ deliberate campaign to blend innovative ideas and concepts through war gaming and experimentation to refine the force of the future.
