A drill instructor from Fox Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, corrects a recruit’s form during an inventory physical fitness test at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Aug. 28. Recruits must complete 100 crunches in less than two minutes to obtain a perfect score on the crunches portion of the PFT. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Fox Company is scheduled to graduate Sept. 23.
