Reserve Marines cheer outside of the Today Show at Rockefeller Center, during the celebration of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Centennial, at Times Square, New York, Aug. 29, 2016. The Marines are commemorating 100 years of rich history, heritage, esprit de corps, and a bond with not only New York City but with all communities across the U.S. The celebration brings awareness to the Reserve’s essential role as a crisis response force and expeditionary force in readiness that is always prepared to augment the active component.
