A Peruvian Marine works together with U.S. Marines and sailors from Task Force Koa Moana to fill sandbags during a class on constructing fighting positions in Ancon, Peru, Sept. 3, 2016. Force Koa Moana is in Peru as part of a theater security cooperation engagement to integrate and improve interoperability with Peruvian Marines. The training blurs the traditional boundaries between U.S. combatant commands due to coordination between U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific and U.S. Marine Corps Forces, South.
