U.S. Marine Staff Sgt. Joseph Ross goes over weapon safety rules with Mongolian Armed Forces soldiers and the Mongolian National Police during the non-lethal live-fire portion of the Non-Lethal Executive Seminar (NOLES) 2016 at Five Hills Training Area, Mongolia, Sept. 15, 2016. Ross is a platoon sergeant with 1st Platoon, A Company, 3rd Law Enforcement Battalion, III Marine Expeditionary Force. Mongolian police and soldiers fired non-lethal munitions from the M203 grenade launcher, Mossberg 500A2 shotgun, and the M32 grenade launcher. NOLES is a regularly scheduled field training exercise and leadership seminar hosted annually by various nations throughout Asia Pacific.
