USS Bataan rests in port Sept. 11, 2016 at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Virginia. Marines and sailors with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit recently cam aboard the ship for Amphibious Squadron 8 MEU integrated Training. PMINT allows the MEU to refine standard operating procedures for shipboard drills, safely conduct ship to shore execution of MEU missions and master the basics of shipboard life.
